For more than 30 years, one of MC’s most popular summer activities has been Kids’ College, where over 300 children participate in enrichment activities. Two sessions are scheduled, each lasting for 8 days (two weeks). MC campus activities begin at 12:40 and end at 5:00, Monday through Thursday. Children completing 1st through 6th grades can choose up to three classes in each two-week session to include such offerings as “Awesome Origami,” “Cartooning Fun,” “Duck Tape Designs,” “Magic Fun,” Roving Reporter,” “Chess” (beginner and intermediate), “Ooey Gooey Science,” “Soccer,” “Tennis,” and “Yoga Sanctuary” just to name a few. Each class is $45 plus supply fees that range from $5 to $30. Also part of Kids’ College programming are partnerships with COM Aquatics for Swim Camp and the Midland Community Theatre for Summer Theatre School. Additional charges apply to these partnership programs.

Basic skills, offensive skills and advanced competition skills are taught by MC Chaparral and Lady Chaparral coaches for various skills and ages (kindergarten through 9th grades for boys and 1st through 10th grades for girls). Morning camps are available for younger students, and older students can participate in afternoon sessions. Camps are held in the Physical Education Building on the main MC campus. Camp fees range from $100 to $150 and include camp t-shirt.

The MC Lady Chaparral volleyball program offers summer camps for various ages (4th through 12th grades) and skill levels. Morning sessions (9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon) are available for 4th through 6th grades and 9th through 12th grades. An afternoon session (1:00-4:00 p.m.) is available for 7th and 8th grades. All activities are held in the Physical Education Building on the main MC campus. Camp fee is $80 and includes a camp t-shirt.
This annual multi-day festival attracts over fifty thousand Christian music fans. Friday nights feature praise and worship, Saturday has inspirational rock and roll. Also featured; skateboarding, sports tents, family speakers, youth leader training extreme games, kid’s activities, a prayer tent and ‘Talk Back Live’ with bands.
