Auction 2016: A Black and Gold Ball

The Museum of the Southwest has served Midland and the communities of West Texas with exhibitions, programming and activities on art, science, history and culture for 50 years. We invite you to celebrate the Museum’s Golden Anniversary at Auction 2016: A Black and Gold Ball—a black tie gala that promises to be Midland’s party of the year! Auction isn’t just an extraordinary party, but the Museum’s most important fundraiser . . . and we hope to strike gold. For this once in a lifetime celebration, we are planning a glittering evening with lavish décor, delectable cuisine, festive cocktails and spectacular auction packages all in a truly unforgettable setting. Inspired by works of art from across cultures and time periods that feature gold, each room will have a unique identity, flare and flavor–spaces will be inspired by Vincent van Gogh, Gustave Klimt, King Tut’s Tomb, Andy Warhol and other world-famous artists. For reservations, call Audrie Palmer at 432.683.2882 x 303.
